Database and Network Administrator
Main purpose of the job:
To manage the day to day operations of the Board’s computer facility to ensure the fast, efficient and secure processing of data and reports, management and integrity of the data bases, and secure access to network in order to ensure the efficient delivery of information technology services which will improve customer services by enhancing the efficiency and productivity of the Board and ensuring the security and integrity of financial and other data essential for the successful operations of the Board; and to
Provide end users with operational hardware and software support to maximize the utilization of information technology and office automation facilities and to ensure the optimal availability of IT services, and the security and integrity of data.
Position and requirements
Education: Degree in computer science, information technology or related area but consideration will be given to a holder of an appropriate three “(3) year Diploma.
Experience: at least five (5) years (for degree holders and 7 years for Diploma holding) post qualification experience in database and network management with extensive knowledge of relevant operating systems, network development and management and communications systems.

Remuneration: Band 4(P16873-P254089) per annum.
