BIDPA seeks applications from citizens of Botswana for the position of
Human Resource Manager
Educations and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited university with a major in Human Resources or a related field. A masters degree in human resources , strategic management or related areas will be an added advantage. Experience of eight (8) years in the development and administration of human resources systems and supervisory experience is also a requirement, of which three (3) years should be at management level.
Main purpose of the job
Plan, direct, and coordinate human resource management activities to maximize the strategic use of human resources and maintain functions such as employee compensation, recruitment, personnel policies , and regulatory compliance.
Key performance areas
Recruitment and selection, training and development; compensation and benefits; Employee relations, rules and regulations; Budgeting and Financial management; and human resource information system.
Knowledge, attribute and skills
Strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management expertise, outstanding communication and presentation skills, high level of interpersonal skills and integrity, solid team player, creative and forward thinker, coaching and leadership skills, strong presentation and facilitation skills.

An attractive remuneration package is offered. All BIDPA staff are employed on renewable five year contracts. The salary system is performance based; BIDPA offers an up-to-date technical environment, interesting tasks and chances for self-improvement and further education.
