Tender offers are invited for Supply and Commissioning of Workshop Accessories, Furniture, Health & Safety Equipment and Art/Design Material for Jewellery Design and Manufacture at Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology.
This is an open tender (National and International Companies are eligible to respond to the tender). Bidders shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be appropriately incorporated to trade, manufacture, consult, render services and/or supply the items and be in possession of requisite documentation to import, manufacture and/or sell such items according to the laws of Botswana. Tenders who are domiciled in Botswana or international tenderers/bidders must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Registrar of Companies or relevant equivalent authority, and Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) submit a: (i) Valid certified copy of Certificate of Incorporation, (ii) Valid certified copy of Tax Clearance Certificate, (iii) Certified copy of valid and relevant Trade License. Foreign companies are to submit a valid Tax Exemption Certificate issued by Botswana Unified Revenue Service (BURS).
A non-refundable deposit of P250.00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made out in favour of the Government of Botswana is required on collection of the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology, Plot No. 188, Oodi Village, (Supplies Department). Documents may be collected during working hours from 09:00 to 16:00 with effect from 22 July 2013 from the Supplies Department, Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology. A compulsory pre-tender site clarification meeting with representatives of the Procuring Department will take place at Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology, Conference Room on 13 August 2013 starting at 10:00.
One (1) original Tender Document plus four (4) copies in sealed envelopes marked: “Tender No. MOE/MTC/ DTVET/6451/13-14 - A Tender for the Supply and Commissioning of Workshop Equipment and Material, Furniture, IT-Equipment and Art/Design Material for Jewellery Design and Manufacture at Oodi College of Applied Arts and Technology," shall be delivered to: The Secretary, Ministerial Tender Committee, Private Bag 006, Block 6 Building, Government Enclave, Floor 1, Office No. 47, Ministry of Education and Skills Development Building. The original must be marked "Original" and copies marked "Copy". Failure to label the envelopes with the correct Tender Number and Title will lead to disqualification. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 26 August 2013. Opening of the tender will be on the same date at 10:30. Late tender offers will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
