Tender offers are invited for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Portable Cabins for the Department of Agric Business Promotion in Kasane and Selebi-Phikwe.
In order to be considered for award of the contract, bidders who have the necessary qualification, background and the relevant experience in similar work must be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in the following categories: - Code: 01, - Sub-Code(s): 03, - Grades and Ceilings: A and B.
A non-refundable cash deposit of BWP500.00 (Five Hundred Pula only) must be made to Ministry of Agriculture at the Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters, Plot No. 4701, Station Road, Agri Business Promotion, Accounts Office No. 26, Gaborone prior to collection of the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of a complete set of the Tender Document is: Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters, Plot No. 4701, Station Road, Old NAMPAADD Block, Office No. 17, Gaborone. Complete Tender Documents may be collected during working hours between 08:00 and 16:00 with effect from 22 July 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: M. A compulsory pre-tender site visit to inspect and ascertain the amount and nature of work will be held at 12:00 on 6 August 2013 at Kasane and at Selebi-Phikwe will be on 9 August 2013 at 12:00. Bidders are requested to assemble at Veterinary Services in Kasane and Agric Business Promotion in Selebi-Phikwe where registration will be done.
One (1) original plus four (4) copies are to be submitted in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked: "Tender No. MOA: MTC/DABP/PT 38 2013/2014 - A Works Contract for Supply, Delivery and Installation of Portable Cabins for the Department of Agric Business Promotion in Kasane and Selebi-Phikwe". The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 23 August 2013 at Ministry of Agriculture Headquarters, Plot No. 4701, Station Road, Main Building and Office No. 15, (Ground Floor), Gaborone, following which tenders will be opened in the presence of tenderers wishing to attend. Tender offers submitted after the closing time and date will not be accepted. Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, emailed or facsimile tenders will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur expenses in the preparation thereof.
