Applications are invited from suitably qualified citizens for the following post in the Department of Attorney General’s Chambers.
Vacancy: Performance Improvement Coordinator - D1
Bachelor’s degree in strategic management or business administration or Public Administration or Human Resource Management or organizational Human Resource Development or BCom ( Management) and or any other related field. A post graduate degree will be an added advantage.
Experience: A minimum of 12 years work experience in the Public Service or business environment.
Salary scale: : D1 (P241, 704.00 –P266.844) per annum
Leave: 30 Working days per annum
Benefits: optional contributory medical aid scheme. Government pays 50% employee 50%.contributory pension fund (government pays 15% employee pays 5%).

Key performance areas:
• Strategic planning, development of corporate and divisional annual performance plans
• Monitoring and implementation of strategic plan
• Manages and coordinates AGC Performance.
• Ensures integration, implementation, monitoring and Evaluation of all public service reforms within the department.
• Prepares regular high level reports to the Attorney General on the progress, impediments and problems to such reforms, programs and/or projects.
• Identifies department strengths, weakness, opportunities and threats and advise the Attorney General and Senior Management accordingly.
• Provide general assistance to the Attorney General by and not limited to:
- Obtaining information on Departmental performance, scrutinize it for accuracy, completeness and relevance.
- Arranges MPIC meetings, prepare agenda and take minutes
- Spearhead and coordinate the Attorney General’s Chambers Performance Reports on implementation of public service change management initiatives
• Coordinates and implement public service change management initiatives
• Train staff on performance management systems including but not limited to
- Performance based reward system
- Balance scorecard
- Business process reengineering
- Work improvement teams
• Undertakes any other related duties as directed by management.
