Botswana Innovation HUB was incorporated to develop and operate a science and technology park, therefore offering a unique platform for scientific, technological and indigenous knowledge business and transforming Botswana into a technology =driven and knowledge based economy.

On this backdrop, Botswana innovation Hub ( BIH) would like to invite suitably qualified innovative dynamic and results driven candidates to apply for the following positions:
Human Resources Manager
1.1 main purpose of the job
the Human Resources Manager ( HRM) will be required to develop and implement a sound human resource strategy, policies and procedures to ensure that HR best practices is adopted and that the mandate of BIH is achieved.

1.2 Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director Corporate services, the Human Resources Manager ( HRM) will be responsible for developing and implementing sound Human Resources ( HR) strategies, policies and procedures aimed at achieving the organization’s objectives and attracting, retaining and motivating staff. The incumbent will also be responsible for drafting and maintaining job descriptions; implementing and driving a performance management system and appraisal tool; and coordinating and promoting the training and development of staff. Furthermore, the incumbent will be required to hear and resolve employee grievances and complaints; establish a sound recruitment process; and develop, implement and manage a competitive remuneration strategy that ensures equity, fairness and commercial sustainability. The incumbent will need to posses detailed knowledge and experience of Botswana labour laws and employment practice.

1.3 Academic Qualifications and Experience
The candidate will be required to have attained the following:
• A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field
• At least eight (8) years post qualification experience in an operational Human Resources (HR) environment, of which three (3) years should have been at middle management level
• A master’s degree in Human Resources Management or in a related field would be any added advantage.
