Tender offers are invited for the services of Cleaning of Streets and Open Spaces in the City of Francistown. A company will be awarded one service area only even if they have bidded for more than one area.
Bidders who are domiciled in Botswana shall, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be preferably 100% citizen owned companies and must be in possession of a Waste Carrier Licence.
A non-refundable deposit of P150.00 should be paid to Francistown City Council prior to collection of the Tender Documents. Payment should be made at Office No. 871, Civic Centre during working hours from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:00.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Office No. 843, Ground Floor, Civic Centre along Blue Jacket Street, Central Business District. Documents may be collected during working hours from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 with effect from 26 April 2013, except on weekends and public holidays. Tender Documents must be in sealed envelopes marked: "Tender No. COF/ENV.HEALTH/13/2013 - Cleaning of Streets and Open Spaces in the City of Francistown", addressed to: The Town Clerk, Private Bag 40, Francistown, and shall be deposited into a Tender Box in Office No. 827, Ground Floor, Civic Centre, Francistown. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 29 May 2013, opening of tender will be at 09:15 on the same day in the Civic Hall, Civic Centre, Francistown in the presence of bidders wishing to attend. Late tender offers will not be accepted Bidders shall bear all costs associated with the preparation and submission of the Tender Documents and the City of Francistown Council, hereafter will under no circumstances be responsible or liable for these costs, regardless of the conduct or outcome of the tender process.
Local Authorities Procurement and Asset Disposal Act's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Francistown City Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
