Tender offers are invited for the Supply of Tyres, Tubes and Batteries for South East District Council Motor Vehicles and Plant.
This is an open domestic tender. Tenders shall be considered from suppliers registered locally dealing with supply of tyres, tubes and batteries for motor vehicles and plant. PPADB Code states: Code: 208, Sub-Code: 02 and 04.
A non-refundable fee of P150.00 (One Hundred and Fifty Pula only) in cash is payable at South East District Council, Revenue Office No. 118, 1st Floor, new RAC is required on collection of the Tender Documents. Revenue office opens from 07:30 to 15:30.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: South East District Council, Civil and Mechanical Engineering Services Department (Mechanical Division) at new Mechanical Workshop. Documents shall be collected during working hours from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 till 16:30 from 29 April up to 27 May 2013. Tender Documents duly completed must be submitted in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked: "Tender No. SEDC/MECH/09/2013 - Supply and Delivery of Tyres, Tubes and Batteries" and addressed to: The Council Secretary, South East District Council, Private Bag 002, Ramotswa, to be hand delivered and registered in Adjudication Office No. 2 behind Treasury Administration Block (Porta cabin), new RAC, Ramotswa. One (1) original and two (2) copies of the original must be submitted. The tender closing date shall be 28 May 2013 at 09:00. Tenders shall be opened immediately on the same day at Arch and Buildings Conference Room. Interested tenderers are free to attend the official opening at their own costs/expense. Tenders submitted after the stipulated closing date and lime shall not be accepted
The Local Authorities Procurement and Asset Disposal Act’s Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, South East District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
