Tender offers are invited for Supply and Delivery of Peanut Butter for 29 Primary Schools for Gaborone City Council.
Tender offers are invited from Botswana locally registered manufacturers of peanut butter, Code: 213, Sub-Code: 01 (Processed Food). Presidential Directive CAB 11 (A) /2010 on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) will apply in this tender, where a bidder is a manufacturer. If the bidder is a manufacturer, he/she shall be required to submit a copy of Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) Certificate certified by issuing authority.
A non-refundable fee of P150.00 paid in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made in favour of Gaborone City Council is required prior to collection of Tender Documents. Payments shall be made at Gaborone City Council Revenue office, Room No. 1, Civic Centre, Plot No. 330, along Independence Avenue effective 26 April 2013 between 08:00 and 15:30 during working days.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Civic Centre, Plot No. 330, Independence Avenue, Room No. 98/101, Education Department. Documents may be collected during working hours between 08:00 and 16:00 from 26 April 2013 on presentation of receipt of payment. Tenders should be submitted in six (6) sets, one (1) marked "Original" and five (5) others marked "Copy" in a plain envelope securely sealed and clearly marked: "Tender No. GCC/12/2013 - Supply and Delivery of Peanut Butter for 29 Primary Schools of Gaborone City Council" and delivered to: Office No. 72, Civic Centre, Plot No. 330, Independence Avenue not later than 09:00 on 29 May 2013. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 29 May 2013 and opening will be immediately thereafter in the presence of interested bidders in the Gaborone City Council Chamber, Civic Centre Hall, Plot No. 330, Independence Avenue. Faxed, emailed and telephonic tender offers will not be accepted.
Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Gaborone City Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
