Air transport companies are invited to Tender for the Provision of Air Transport Service from Sir Seretse Khama Airport to Mamuno and back to Sir Seretse Khama Airport on the same day.
Air transport companies who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be locally registered.
A non-refundable fee of P500.00 (Five Hundred Pula) payable in cash or by the bank certified cheque in favour of Government of Botswana is required before collection of the tender.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Department of Meteorological Services (DMS), P.O. Box 10100, Gaborone, located at the Village before the Prison in Gaborone. Documents may be collected during working hours between 09:00 and 16:00 with effect from 29 April 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: H. The tenderer shall submit one (1) original copy and five (5) copies. Tenders in sealed envelopes clearly marked: "Tender No. 2 MTC/MEWT/DMET 2000/5/2 V (2) 2013-2014 - Provision of Air Transport Service from SSKB to Mamuno and Back to SSKA", shall be delivered to: Ministerial Tender Committee located at the Department of Tourism, Main Mall, Standard House, 1st Floor, Office No. 5 before 10:00 and telephonic, faxed or emailed or SMS submissions shall not be accepted. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on Friday, 31 May 2013. Tender bids shall be opened immediately after closing receipt of the tenders in the presence of bidders who may wish to attend
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
