Tender offers are invited for Supply and Delivery of Stationery for South East District Council, Ramotswa.
Tender offers are invited from locally registered companies with valid and relevant trading documents. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract.be registered with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board (PPADB) in the following category: Code: 211, Sub-Codes: 02. The Presidential Directive CAB II (A) on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) will apply on this tender, where a bidder is a manufacturer, manufacturers are required to submit a certified copy of Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) certificate, certified by issuing authority.
A non-refundable fee of (P150.00) One Hundred and Fifty Pula only payable in cash only made out in favour of South East District Council is required upon collection of the Tender Document. Payments may be made at the Council to the Revenue Office No. 118, First Floor, New RAC, Ramotswa, NB: Revenue office opens from 07:30 to 15:30.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Procurement and Disposal Division (Supplies) – Ramotswa, Old Rural Administration Centre (RAC). Documents may be collected during working hours from 07:30 to 12:45 and from 13:45 to 16:30 from 8 April to 2 May 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: The Supplies Manager, Telephone No. +267 5381200 or +267 5380014, Fax No. +267 5380007, fourteen (14) days before the closure of the tender.
Tenders should be submitted in three (3) sets, one (1) marked "Original" and two (2) marked "Copies" in a plain envelope securely sealed and clearly marked: "Tender No. SEDC/SUP/02/2013 - A Contract for Supply and Delivery of Stationery and Toners for South East District Council - Ramotswa" and delivered to: Adjudication Office No. 2 (porta cabin/camp), behind Treasury Administration Block, New RAC, Ramotswa. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 on 30 May 2013 and opening will follow immediately after closure in the presence of interested bidders. Bidders wishing to attend the tender opening may do so at their own cost, at Architecture and Buildings Department. Failure to submit the required number of copies will result in disqualification of the bid.
The Local Authority Procurement and Asset Disposal Act's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, South East District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
