Tender offers are invited for the supplies contract for the Procurement of Military V-neck Jerseys for two years period.
This tender is reserved for domestic bidders only. Only those tenderers, who have been appropriately licensed to trade, manufacture and or supply the items and are in possession of requisite documentation to import, manufacture and/or sell such items according to the laws of Botswana. The Cabinet Directive CAB No. 11 (A) of 2010 on Economic Diversification Drive (EDD) as per Guidelines on the diversification and stimulation of local economy through preference margins based on the turnover and thresholds shall be implemented in the evaluation of this tender. The successful bidder(s) will be required to abide by the undertakings given on the diversification and stimulation of 2010 published by Ministry of Trade and Industry. Bidders should be registered with Ministry of Trade and Industry and attach a certified copy of EDD certificate for eligibility to receive preference under this tender.
Documents may be collected during working hours on weekdays at a fee of P250.00 (non-refundable).
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Sir Seretse Khama Barracks, Mogoditshane at Force Ordnance Corps, Purchasing Office. Documents may be collected during working hours from 08:00 to 16:00 on weekdays with effect from 29 April 2013. Names and addresses of bidders must be reflected on the outer of the envelope. Two (2) Original Tender Documents plus seven (7) identical copies in a sealed envelope marked: "Tender No. DJS/MTC/BDF/025/2013-2014 - Supplies Contract for the Procurement of Military V-neck Jerseys for Two Years Period" shall be delivered to: The Board Secretary, Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board, Private Bag 0058, Gaborone, Plot No. 8913, Maakgadigau Way, Gaborone West Industrial Area, Gaborone, Botswana. Originals must be marked "Original" 1 & 2 and one copy will be retained by MTC for references purposes. Four (4) jerseys as per all the required four sizes as samples must be delivered to SSKB along Molepolole Road, FOC, Purchasing Office not later than 4th June 2013 at 16:00. Two (2) original copies and seven (7) copies should be submitted. The Tender Number and the title of the tender should be clearly written on the outside of the envelope. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 30 May 2013. Late tender offers or samples will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer.
