Tender offers are invited for the Re-gravelling, Dry Grading and Bush Clearing of Qurube - Nxaunxau Road Section C (40km)
This tender is reserved for 100% citizen contractors. Tenderers must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 03, Sub-Code: 02 or 03, Grades: B.
A non-refundable deposit of P1100.00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made in favour of Botswana Government is required on collection of the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Document is, Chief Technical Officer's office, Roads Maintenance Maun Depot, Tshekotsheko Road between 07:45 and 15:30 during weekdays from Monday to Thursday. Documents will not be availed to prospective bidders after 15:30 on Friday. A compulsory site visit will be held on 7 May 2013 starting from 10:00. The start point will be at Qurube - Nxaunxau Road end of Section B (80km from Qurube).
One original and four (4) copies of the original must be submitted. Tenders must reach the office of the Ministry of Transport and Communications, Ministerial Tender Committee Secretary, West Gate Mall, Old DBES offices, Ground Floor, Gaborone, in a plain sealed envelope marked: "Tender No. MTC 240/5/22B/2012-2013(63) - Re-Gravelling, Dry Grading and Bush Clearing of Qurube -Nxaunxau Road Section C (40km)", not later than 08:00 on 24 May 2013, when tenders will be opened in the presence of tenderers wishing to attend. Late tender offers will not be accepted. Telephonic, telex or faxed tenders will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
