Tender offers are invited for the Painting and General Refurbishment of Madiba Senior Secondary School Girls Hostels at Mahalapye Village
The tender is open to 100% citizen owned contractors only. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with PPADB in the following categories: Code: 01, Sub-Code(s): 01 (Building Construction), Grades and Ceilings: B. This tender is divided into two parts Tenderers are at liberty to bid for all or any of the two parts, these parts are treated as separate contracts and therefore one tenderer can only be awarded one part of the two parts.
A non-refundable tender fee of P500.00 to be paid at the Revenue Office DBES, Mahalapye, prior to collection of the Tender Document.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Department of Building and Engineering Services, Mahalapye Sub-District, P. O. Box 48, Mahalapye, along A1 Road next to BDF Camp. Documents may be collected during working hours between 08:00 and 16:00 on weekdays with effect from Monday, 22 April 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: Area Manager, Mr C. Moribola, Telephone No. +267 4710433, Fax No. +267 4710432 and E-mail: cmoribola@gov.bw 14 days before tender closing date. All communication of queries shall be in writing and sent via; fax or by email.
A compulsory pre-tender meeting and site visit with representatives of the Procuring Department will take place at Madiba Senior Secondary School starting at 10:00 on 2 May 2013.
The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 23 May 2013 at Department of Building and Engineering Services, Conference Room, Mahalapye Sub-District, P.O Box 48, Mahalapye, along A1 Road next to BDF Camp. Tenders will be opened the same day when interested parties are invited to attend. Late tender, telephonic, fax or electronic offers will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Condition of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
