Tender offers are invited for the Provision of Construction, Renovation, Completion and Maintenance of Burnt Science Labs at Ghanzi Senior Secondary School

The tender is open to local contractors only. Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 01, Sub-Code(s): 01 (Building Construction), Grades and ceilings: C.

A non-refundable cash deposit of P500.00 must be made to the Revenue Collector in the Depot prior to collection of the Tender Documents at Administration office.

The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Ghanzi DBES Depot, Accounts Office. Documents may be collected during working hours after 08:00 to 12:45 then from 13:45 to 16:00 from 22 April 2013 up to 10 May 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: T. M. Mongale, Telephone No. +267 6596348, Fax No. +267 6596239 and queries shall reach the addressee on/or before 10 May 2013; no queries will be entertained after 10 May 2013. All communication of queries shall be in writing and sent via; fax or by email.

A compulsory pre-tender meeting and site visit with representatives of the Procuring Department will take place at Ghanzi Senior Secondary School starting at 10:00 on 2 May 2013.

The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 10:00 on 23 May 2013 at Ghanzi DBES Depot and put in a Tender Box in front of Development Office, P.O. Box 33, Ghanzi. Late tender offers will not be accepted.

The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Condition of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
