Tender offers are invited for maintenance works contract for dry grading and spot improvement of Toteng - Bodibeng Road.
This tender is reserved for 100% citizen contractors. Tenderers must, in order to be considered for award of the contract, be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 03, Sub-Code(s): 02 or 03, Grade B.
A non-refundable deposit of P1100.00 payable in cash or by bank guaranteed cheque made in favour of the Botswana Government is required on collection of die lender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Document is: Roads Maintenance Depot, Tshekotsheko Road, Maun. Documents may be collected from office of Chief Technical Officer between 07:30 and 12:30 and from 13:45 to 16:30 during weekdays from 4 March 2013. Documents will not be availed to prospec¬tive bidders on 16 April 2013. Queries relating to the issue of these documents may be addressed to: L.R. A compulsory site visit and clarification meeting will be held on 25 March 2013 starting from 09:30. The start point will be at Toteng Village near Toteng to Ghanzi old road bridge.
Tenders must reach the Ministerial Tender Committee office, Gaborone in a plain sealed envelope marked: “Tender No. MTC 240/5/22B/2013-2014 (4) - A Works Contract for Dry Grading and Spot Improvement of Toteng - Bodibeng Road" not later than 18 April 2013, when tenders will be opened at 08:00 in the presence of tenderers wishing to attend. Closing date for submission of tender is on/or before 18 April 2013. Late tender offers will not be accepted. Telephonic, telex or faxed tenders will not be accepted.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in the Tender Documents. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, the Government of Botswana is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
