Tender offers are invited for Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning Units for Ghanzi District Council.
Tenderers who are domiciled in Botswana must, in order to be considered for award of the contract. be registered with the Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board in the following categories: Code: 08 (Mechanical Engineering), Sub-Code(s): 01, 02, 03 or 04, Grade: C.
A non-refundable deposit of P500.00 (Five Hundred Pula only) must be paid to the Ghanzi District Council, RAC Building, Block 1, Ground Floor, Office No 123, Revenue Office made out in favour of the Ghanzi District Council prior to collecting the Tender Documents.
The physical address for collection of Tender Documents is: Ghanzi District Council, Rural Administration Centre, Block 1 - Electrical Division, First Floor, Office 1-35 (Electrical Engineer). Documents may be collected during working hours between 07:30 and 12:45 and from 14:00 to 16:30 on weekdays with effect from 18 March 2013. Tender offers are to be hand-delivered to Ghanzi LAPAD Office - lpelegeng Compound, not later than 09:00 on 18 April 2013, marked: "Tender No. GDC/ELEC/07/2013 - Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning Units for Ghanzi District Council". Bidders shall submit one (1) original marked "Original" and three (3) copies marked "Copies" sealed in one envelope and should be addressed to: The Council Secretary. Ghanzi District Council, Private Bag 0015, Ghanzi. The closing time for receipt of tender offers is 09:00 and opening will be at 10:00 on 18 April 2013. Late tender offers will not be accepted. Telephonic, telegraphic, telex, facsimile or post-mailed tenders would not be considered.
The Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Board's Standardised Conditions of Tender apply to this procurement, for which all the applicable Tender Data is contained in Tender Document. Notwithstanding anything in the foregoing, Ghanzi District Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any tender offer, nor incur any expenses in the preparation thereof.
